Stintino is again confirmed as a music capital with the return of Stintino Jazz & Classica, the series of seminars organized by the Association LABohème in collaboration with the Municipality of Stintino. For the sixth consecutive year, the fishing village will become an open-air theater, with concerts along the town’s streets and lessons given by renowned musicians.
Once again, four courses will be taught: the Big Band course with Roberto Spadoni will make its return, alongside the theoretical lessons of Bruno Tommaso, cornerstone of Italian jazz music; the Classical masterclass will again be entrusted to Pietro Scalvini – first viola of, among others, the FOI-Bruno Bartoletti, the ORTof Florence, Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma, the Virtuosi Italiani, the Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia- , who will deal with ensemble music for stringed instruments.
The enormous enthusiasm for last year’s opera course convinced the organization to reconfirm the seminar: StintinOpera will have as an exceptional teacher the bass Roberto Scandiuzzi, an artist who has performed in major theaters worldwide, from the New York Metropolitan to the Opera Bastillein Paris, from the Royal Opera House in London to the San Francisco Opera, and who today successfully combines his work as a singer and a lecturer.

The course program. Registration for the courses is open until June 24th.
As with last year, SJ&C courses will be divided into two weeks. The first, from 6 to 11 July, will be dedicated to opera singing with Roberto Scandiuzzi. From July 13th to 20th, the masterclass of ensemble music for stringed instruments will be held by Pietro Scalvini, that of jazz by “La fabbrica dei suono” with Roberto Spadoni and the theoretical lessons of Bruno Tommaso from Monday to Thursday.
